The main principle of German Volume Training

Follow the following principles to achieve success in german volume training.

One to two exercises: You are require to perform one to two exercise for each body part, you are to stick with compound, heavier lift that involve major muscle group. You are expected to select exercise effectively in order to achieve your result.

100 Reps: For the exercise you will perform 10 sets of 10 reps making use of 60% of one rep max for the lift, the 10 reps will be a bit easy on the first 4 to 5 sets, your mind can prompt you to add a few pound, do not listen to your mind, as you progress on your set it becomes more difficult.

Rest Pause: Your rest should be between 60 to 90 seconds between your sets, do not lower your rest below 60 second and also ensure you do not decrease the load. For most of the exercise you will be performing a 60 second rest will be ok other exercise may require between 90 to 120 second as rest. It all depends on the kind of exercise you are performing. Ensure you understand the rest period for each exercise, too much rest will not help you to reap the benefit.
